How to play

Each day you get a short report of everyday prices from one place: a meal, a litre of milk, gasoline, rent, and so on, plus the last 12 months of inflation. Guess where it is.

You have six guesses. After each one you see:

Distance from your guess to the answer, and an arrow pointing toward it.
Cost of living: whether the answer is cheaper or pricier overall than the place you guessed.
Match: how close you are, as a percentage. 100% is the answer.

Change the currency to one you know, or switch units to imperial. Neither changes the answer. The Countries and Cities editions are separate daily puzzles.

Prices are estimates of local averages. They are meant to be in the right ballpark, not exact.
